The wines in the Foundation Stone range are inspired by the ancient Zhizo people, a groundbreaking Southern African iron age community known for their impressive dry-stone architecture, sophisticated societal structures, vast trade activities and agricultural endeavours.
The Foundation Stone collection honours the building blocks of civilisation and the fundamental foundations of winemaking – soil, fruit and time, without which we would have nothing.
Each Foundation Stone wine is a candid snapshot of the South African Winelands, expressing a rich wine history through the cultivars from which they are produced.
