Edition Five – A New Season
There are moments when it is worth opening something special and celebrating how far we have come.
Our Foundation Stone Shiraz, grown in the Swartland, was named one of the Top 12 wines in the 2026 Shiraz SA Wine Challenge. Closer to home, our Regna Loca Semillon 2025, from Franschhoek, received the Investec Trophy for Best Semillon and an exceptional 95 points from Christian Eedes of Winemag.
These accolades are particularly meaningful to us because 2025 marked the first vintage produced in our new cellar, following the Crosbies’ investment in a state-of-the-art winemaking facility at Rickety Bridge. To see a wine from that very first vintage already receiving this level of recognition is an exciting affirmation of where we are heading.
But wine is never only about awards. It is about people, place and the moments that bring us together.
So, as we welcome a new season, we have filled this edition with wines that tell different parts of our story: two Cap Classique’s to raise a glass with, our tasting-room-exclusive Regna Loca Cinsault, and an older Crossover Pinotage from our Vinoteque, a little piece of Rickety Bridge history.
This box looks both ways: back at the journey that brought us here, and forward to what is still to come.
